Customs in Morocco
When you are shipping to Morocco, there is an exemption from duties and taxes for goods that are worth less than 30 USD. Packages worth more than this will have fees applied during the customs clearance process. This amount may differ depending on the value and place of origin for your goods.
To make sure that there are no problems when clearing customs, you should properly declare the full nature and value of your goods. If you fail to do so, you may have the wrong fees applied or your package may be delayed clearing customs.

Collection & delivery
Courier collection
We can collect same day from most parts of the UK and Morocco, or book the day before to save on the cost of collection. Pick-ups are made between 9am and 7pm on working weekdays. If the courier has not arrived by 4pm, we recommend you contact us.
If you don’t want to wait home all day we recommend you opt for our drop-off service, which enables you to drop your parcel at a retailer in your local area.
Morocco delivery
Parcelcompare delivers between 9am and 7pm on normal working days. If you’d like to narrow your delivery window, you can choose to use one of our timed delivery services, with pre 9 AM, 10AM and 12PM delivery options available to most locations. We will only make three attempts at delivery, so make sure that your receiver is available to sign for your delivery. We will not post your parcel through the post box, so if the receiver is unavailable, you will need to organise an alternative.
Tracking when shipping to Morocco

Sending food to Morocco
There’s plenty of tasty treats available in Morocco, and Parcelcompare makes it a breeze to ship over even more. There are some extra rules to keep in mind when you are sending a food shipment by courier however; we’ve noted them down below, so make sure you follow them carefully.
That means that it’s just as simple to ship something tasty to Marrakesh as it is to grab a treat from the internet. Unfortunately, though, you can’t send homemade Baklava just yet.
What you can send:
Non-perishable foods
Store bought foods with a best before date over 6 months away
Items must be in the original manufacturers packaging and unopened
The food label needs to list all the ingredients
The best before date must be displayed on the packaging
Examples of pershable foods: Crisp and savory foods, Chocolates and candy, Canned foods, Herbs and Spices in sealed containers, tea bags, Jams and other preserves
What you cannot send:
Perishable foods
Foods with a shelf life of less than 6 months
Homemade foods or any foods not in the original manufacturers packaging
Foods that can spoil during transit
Food in packaging that have been opened
Food that does not contain a food label listing the ingredients
Packaging your parcel
With an entire ocean to traverse, it should come as no surprise that your package risks a few bumps or knocks during its journey. To make sure your goods arrive in good condition, you should properly package them.
1. Get a new box
This is the first line of defence for books and priceless statues alike. Make sure you use a new, double corrugated cardboard box – old boxes are liable to burst or be crushed on the journey.
2. Pack your box
Wrap your goods individually, after all, you don’t want them to damage each other. Surround them in your box with plenty of packaging material, and make sure they don’t move at all.
Seal your box
Your packing tape can help protect your box’s weakest points, so be generous. Wrap around your box three times in a union flag pattern, then add your labels so that all information can be seen.
Holidays and gift giving occasions in Morocco
