Customs clearance
When shipping outside the UK you need to produce customs documentation which will accompany your package. Parcelcompare makes this easy by helping you produce all the required paperwork. Your package may also be liable for import duty and tax which is payable by the recipient.
DHL collection & delivery
DHL collections
DHL pick-ups are made between 9 AM and 6 PM on working weekdays. We can’t confirm a specific time for each collection, however we do offer a collection window so you don’t need to wait home all day. If the courier has not arrived by 4 PM we recommend you contact us.
If you don’t want to wait in for your eBay collection then we also offer convenient eBay drop-ship locations across the UK, so you can drop your package at any one of 20,000 UK retailers.
If you’re sending something a bit bigger than usual, we offer a specialist service for large and heavy parcel delivery. And if you need to collect goods from your buyer as they are returning their eBay item, we also offer a convenient eBay returns service.
DHL delivery
Unless you have specified an AM delivery service, DHL make deliveries between 9am and 7pm on working weekdays.
DHL express make three delivery attempts a standard, however the courier can also leave the package in a safe place such as in a porch or with a neighbour. If you must have a signature, then please upgrade to our ‘signature required option’.
