Royal Mail delivery
Delivery times: Royal Mail usually delivers letters and small parcels between 7am and 4:30pm, Monday to Saturday. In busy areas or peak periods, deliveries may be later.
Sunday delivery: standard services don’t deliver on Sundays. Some services (like Tracked 24) may offer Sunday delivery in selected areas.
Number of deliveries: most addresses receive one delivery per day. Occasionally, there may be a second delivery during busy periods or for signature-required items.
Bank holidays: Royal Mail does not deliver or collect on UK bank holidays across all regions.
Royal Mail tracking
Using the Royal Mail tracking number, you can track your delivery from door-to-door. Whether you’re exporting, or using Royal Mail import express services, your package will receive scans at every point during its life-cycle.
Scans inform you if any delays have occurred, so track your package regularly. Parcelcompare also proactively notifies you by email of tracking events if any delays occur along the way.
