Send parcels to New Zealand

Prohibited and restricted items when sending to New Zealand

Because New Zealand is an island nation, there are several restrictions on what can be brought into the country. When shipping with Parcelcompare, there are also items that we choose not to carry. To find out whether the contents of your package are allowed in New Zealand, or whether Parcelcompare will carry it, you can check the New Zealand customs page or Parcelcompare’s restricted items list

These are some of the goods that you are not allowed to import when shipping to New Zealand:

  • Cannabis utensils, including bongs and hash pipes

  • Children’s crayons and finger paints

  • Ammunition of any kind

  • Firearms

  • Dog tracking devices

  • High powered magnets

  • Laser pointers

  • Any counterfeit goods
